    Private Chef, No Restaurant Week introduces trendier ways to dine by producing fun, intimate chef-driven experiences that feature celebrity and aspiring top chefs.

     

    Each chef will bring their own original style and skills to show off for foodies and restaurateurs in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Foodies will also have an opportunity to hear from restauranteurs, entrepreneurs disrupting the food and beverage industry, executive chefs, and local farmers.

    Sep 23: Chefs with Cookbooks at Walls of Books (3325 Georgia Ave NW)

    5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

    Meet and greet with chefs turned authors. Find out the secret to the sauce, discover new recipes, and purchase autographed cookbooks. featuring jonathan bardzik author of seasons to taste, anthony thomas author of mommy, daddy What Is this? and meal prep is the new leftovers, & sheen ricks and darrell stokes authors of you can do it volume 1. This event is hosted by 8x published author nevin martell. free to the public.

    Sep 24: Chef Roundtables and Expo at The Carolina Kitchen (6501 America Blvd Hyattsville, MD)

    4 pm - 8 pm

    Designed for chefs by chefs. Workshops, panels, and dialogues to help provide support and resources for private chefs. Speakers include celebrity chefs, food publicists, photographers, distributors, restauranteurs, farmers, and professional service experts in collaboration with chefs without restaurants.

    Sep 25: A Plant-Based Lifestyle (619 Allison St NW)

    5 pm - 8 pm

    Explore a garden of botanical dishes & experience a journey of vegan and vegetarian food. This chef guided (scenic) tour through vegetation and floral backdrops will inspire and impress palates.

    Sep 26: Destination X (200 V St SW Dock A)

    5 pm - 9 pm

    Trying authentic, international cuisine on a private boat from your own private chef is a foodie-travel bug’s wildest dream come true. travel new flavors and delicious in collaboration with dine diaspora and our captain from DC Boating Adventures.

    Sep 27: An Ode to Chocolate City at Coffy Cafe (3310 14th St NW Washington, DC)

    6 pm - 10 pm

    Hosted by wpgc’s Poet, featured chefs will interpret DC into edible form with all dishes infused or made with chocolate. eat through the District and experience a unique food journey featuring Kareem "mr. bake" queeman, owner or Mr. Bake, wanda henderson owner or wanda's on 7th and yahya sardari owner of coffy cafe.

    Sep 28: Closing Event - Chefs and Cocktails (James Creek Marina, 200 V St SW)

    8 pm - Midnight

    an upscale dining experience with small plates and heavy hors d'oeuvres. Guests will taste a variety of new, signature dishes tableside from their very own private chef and mixologist accompanied by music and beautifully curated themed tables
